Websites With Sound

Hello Ranting Office Readers!

It's been a while since I found something that would allow me to rant like a mad woman, but today has been the day from sound hell! As marketeers and internet entrepreneurs, we are usually surfing 5-10 sites at one time. It makes me wonder...

Did any of the fools who like the sound of their own voice, and insist on hearing it over and over again ever surfed more than one site at a time? Have they ever actually listened to their own voices and realized it's worse then the sound of nails scratching a chalkboard?

The sound of deep voices, whiny voices, loud voices, announcers voices and the general din of 4 or 5 playing at once is enough to make me shut off my sound, click off their sites as fast as possible and start searching for an exchange that doesn't allow sound! I refuse to spend time perusing a site that has sound that plays automatically and cannot be stopped. Worse, get one of those sites that you really think you might be interested in, and watch it get ruined for you as you have to listen to the same 5 second clip over and over and over again.

It is time for the big boys to wake up and take notice. We HATE the sound of your voices, we cannot stand the way it slows down our computers and we do get out of your page as fast is humanly possible. You are losing members, sales and god only knows what else by forcing us, the general population of the internet, to endure the sound of your not so sweet ass voice.

Get over yourselves...if you have to have sound playing on your site, either find someone who has a pleasant voice to do it for you, or get a computer voice program to introduce your product for you. If you don't....

Well, it's your loss and our gain as we refuse to even look at your sites!
