Geeks On Time Techs - Invite To Write

It appears that many are still receiving the same song and dance from Geeks On Time! Though my husband has been paid and no longer works for them, I continue to see articles and comments coming through from other techs who have not received their payment.

The excuses coming from Geeks On Time are numerous, including the fact that their "short term funding" is just not there. Now, if I remember correctly, GOT receives payment from their clients within 30 days of doing the work. Techs are promised payment within 45 days from the date of completing the job and filing the paperwork. Obviously, if nothing else, GOT is getting paid from their clients, why are they not paying their techs?

Florida Authorities Wallow In Stupidity

DELTONA, Fla. — An angry Deltona father whacked his teenage daughter's boyfriend with a metal pipe after finding the boy naked in his daughter's room.

Authorities say the father, 45, didn't even know his daughter had a boyfriend or that the youngster had been sneaking into the home for more than a year.

When he heard noises coming from his daughter's bedroom Thursday morning and saw a stranger standing naked on the girl's bed, he swung a metal pipe. He then chased the teen out the front door and called police.

The boy was taken to the hospital where doctors closed a head wound with staples.

The father was charged with aggravated battery on a child and bonded out on $10,000.

Perhaps the daughter should have been charged and tossed into a cell for Aggravated Disrespect. The boyfriend definitely should have been charged with Breaking & Entering, Trespassing and whatever else fits. This father did what any self-respecting father would do. If I walked into my child's room to find a naked stranger in her room, you can bet I would swing first and ask questions later, if he was still alive to ask.

I realize that authorities are trying to set an example that vigilantes and their acts are not acceptable in society today. Thus, they have to charge the man, pay a judge, court costs, blah blah blah and waste our money. Did anyone stop to think that they are ruining a father's reputation, employment opportunities and more because he was PROTECTING his daughter? Did you stop to think that he called the police after chasing the intruder from his home? If he really wanted to handle the matter on his own, he would have went after the kid.

Rape, murder, robbery...real crimes that go unpunished every day. Florida - get out there and do your jobs. Leave the man alone.
